Installing SprintUnity

SprintUnity installs directly from the Atlassian Marketplace, like any other Jira Cloud app. No separate account, no server, nothing to host.

Before you start — you need to be a Jira site administrator (or have permission to install apps) on the Jira Cloud site you want to add SprintUnity to.

Open the SprintUnity listing on the Atlassian Marketplace

Go to marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/3480459927, or click "Install for Jira" anywhere on this site.

Click "Get it now"

You'll be asked to sign in with the Atlassian account tied to your Jira site, if you aren't already.

Choose your Jira site

If your account has access to more than one Jira Cloud site, pick the one you want SprintUnity installed on.

Confirm the install

Review the requested permissions and confirm. Atlassian installs the app directly into your site — this normally takes under a minute.

Open SprintUnity from your Jira sidebar

The first time you open it, your tenant is automatically registered and set to active — there's no separate setup form to submit first.

What happens on first load

The first time anyone on your team opens SprintUnity, the app registers your Jira site as a tenant behind the scenes and marks it active. You don't need to do anything for this step — it happens automatically the moment the app loads.

Once your tenant shows as active, move on to Quick Start to configure roles, teams, and capacity before your first sprint.
